Arctic destinations are a hot thing right now. And explorations to the coldest, most extreme edges of the globe are more sought-after than they've ever been.
Think of Iceland, Antarctica, even Canada, and Alaska.
The way you get to these destinations are key. You can't just enter Antarctica or Alaska on any old train. Nope, specialised sea vessels made exclusive journeys to these remote parts of the globe. And while a research expedition must be a rewarding experience, one doesn't always want to study for a PhD in marine biology before one goes on holiday...
Cue Cruises International's relaunched six-star luxury cruise to Alaska on board the Seabourn Sojurn.
This year, the luxury Sojurn vessel returns to Alaska for the first time in 15 years.
The Alaskan itinerary gives the full icy experience, including the towering virgin forests along the Inside Passage, the thunderous calving of glaciers and impressive humpback whales breaching in the Kenai Fjords.
